Summary: 

The Project Scheduler will develop and maintain project schedules and support Program Managers (PMs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs) with project scheduling and analysis in an Earned Value environment.

Qualifications: 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must have an excellent working knowledge of MS office suite. Must be highly proficient in Project.
• Scheduling experience under an Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be organized and able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Experience with financial analysis is desired.
• Previous experience in government contracting is desired.
• Experience with Schedule Analysis tool is a plus
• Experience with Cobra software is a plus.
• CAM experience is a plus.
• Applicant may be required to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain an EV compliant IMS and intermediate/detail schedules.
• Develop schedules that include resource loading, project phasing, project milestones, and represent critical relationships between program tasks as required to plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activities.
• Work with PMs and/or CAMs to provide schedule status on a monthly basis.
• Proactive assessment of project schedule risks for effective mitigation.
• Develop and analyze planning, scheduling and change related metrics/reports, including critical path analysis, resource analysis, etc.
• Based on requests from the PM and/or CAMs, be able to analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication and provide feedback on program performance.
• Maintain compliance with requirements for schedules on government contracts, including EVMS requirements.
• Incorporate and document changes to the schedule throughout the life-cycle of the program.
• Conduct reconciliation of data contained within schedule tools to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with financial analysts to ensure cost and schedule integration.

Education / Experience Required: 

Bachelor's degree in business, technical field, or other related field, or equivalent related job experience.
