Summary: 

This position will be available on January 2, 2019.

Qualifications: 

The incumbent shall perform a variety of program support functions for the PPT executive, program and field offices and at a minimum shall perform any of the following functions:
• Shall acknowledge and adhere to all standards for conduct, internal controls, the Privacy Act, and the protection and safeguarding of all Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Represents the Department as an advocate in formal hearings or proceedings.
• Drafts positions papers for actions before the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) and similar bodies.
• Prepares formal responses to grievances, and responses to formal and informal information requests from the union.
• Support elite projects and special taskers.
• Developing formal management briefings with detailed project reporting and supported findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate and track various topical information coming into the PPT Executive Office.
• Track and monitor the status of schedules, memoranda, briefing papers, and taskers ensuring formats and deadlines are being met.
• Ensures that PPT management is aware of pending or upcoming deadlines.
• Ensure the proper coordination of executive communications, including call management, email responses and interfacing with internal and external customers.

Education / Experience Required: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business from an accredited University and four (4) years of experience or six (6) years’ experience supporting executive level personnel.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Office Products (i.e., Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook) with expert level knowledge of MS SharePoint.
• Strong aptitude for learning PPT-specific programs and software (i.e., Tableau, Schedule) and other COTS applications.
• Exceptional organizational, project management and problem-solving skills and multi-tasker with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize simultaneous work flow duties.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with high-level executives.
• Superior organizational skills and work ethic.
• Capable of working independently on high level headquarters projects.
