Quality Support, Inc. is seeking a Visa Analyst to work for our Government customer in Washington, D.C.  Candidates must possess an Active Top Secret Clearance to be considered for this position. 

  • Manage team correspondence, attend and coordinate meetings, take and organize meeting notes in support of all data integrity and data sharing-related projects.
  • Draft and submit memos on appropriate cases within two weeks of receipt of all supporting derogatory information.
  • Timely organize updates on federal appropriations legislation that affects the Visa Office.
  • Articulate Department and Bureau of Consular Affairs priorities in meetings as well as in any briefing materials, talking points, and other work products
  • Arrange for proper disposal of sensitive information in accordance with Department guidelines.
  • Ensures ongoing communication with interagency partners and sends out messages and alerts as and when required related to our partners access to visa data.
  • Effectively and professionally respond to phone calls and electronic communications from colleagues, other USG agencies, Congressional offices, other DOS bureaus, and consular posts overseas.  
  • Identify ongoing potential issues with Team’s projects and propose solutions.
  • Assist in formulating, running, or assisting in the management of special projects, case trackers, training, or other assignments.
  • Promptly review and take action on cases in assigned portfolio as well as portfolios of colleagues, when needed.  
  • Represent the office in meetings, workshops or conferences relating to his or her assigned portfolio and/or general visa processing as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison with other visa-related DOS bureaus and USG agencies 
  • (Preferred) Advanced knowledge and understanding of the laws, rules and regulations pertaining to eligibility for and issuance of a U.S. visa 
  • Possess skills in utilizing software applications with the ability to perform administrative functions and create spreadsheets, reports, etc. 
  • Excellent case management, research skills, and the ability to access Top Secret systems 
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must have strong customer service skills and be able to politely and appropriately interface with everyone, from high-ranking public officials to colleagues, in a timely and helpful manner. 
  • Strong working knowledge of immigration law related to visas and the federal rulemaking process


Education / Experience Required: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred) and,
  • Six (6) years of written and oral communications in an office environment, including; 
  • Two (2) years of policy development, international relations, intelligence community, legal, and/or foreign service, including; 
  • Four (4) years of experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS SharePoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook 
  • An active TOP SECRET security clearance is required
