Quality Support provided on-site recruitment and customer service support for the AmeriCorps VISTA Recruitment Office. Our Call Center Specialists guided potential VISTA candidates through the web-based application process, and answered questions regarding the AmeriCorps VISTA Program. Quality Support provided this service to CNCS since 1998. In 2002, Quality Support was awarded a follow-on contract that expanded duties to include onsite database management of all VISTA candidates. Our employees managed and input all such data into a Microsoft Access database. We also performed administrative duties at our Corporate Office, to include working with AmeriCorps VISTA Cluster Coordinators around the country to track and make payments to VISTA volunteers who worked various recruitment events. All volunteers were required to fill out a W-9 and submit it to Quality Support before they received payment. Quality Support’s Cluster Event Manager tracked annual earnings for all VISTA volunteers; ensured a 1099 was completed, and submitted a monthly report in Microsoft Excel to the COTR, detailing expenses and remaining funds, by cluster, to date.
